BROOKFIELD, Conn., Oct. 27, 2026 — CinterForge today invited people to request a spot in the closed, limited beta of CinterForge Series 1: Creative Suite, the first release in its planned open card game platform. Built around its own operating system, the platform is being developed to span creative tools, game development, play, and collectible-card experiences. Series 1 is focused on creatives and brings together a Creative Suite built on supported open-source projects.
The beta will begin as a closed, limited program, with access opening to more participants over time. CinterForge expects to open the public beta ahead of the planned July 2, 2027, launch of Series 1 out of beta.
Twenty-three years ago, on Oct. 27, 2003, Adobe introduced Creative Suite, bringing creative tools together in one suite. CinterForge takes that idea into a broader platform.
Creators can keep using the tools they already have or prefer. CinterForge supports a curated list of open-source apps, which creators can install independently or access through the platform. CinterForge is also developing its own versions of supported apps—open-source forks built on the parent projects—as part of CinterForge Series 1: Creative Suite. Work to bring the apps together as a cohesive suite is ongoing.
“I want people to own their tools, own their work, and have the freedom to create without asking permission.”
— Pete Falco, co-founder of CinterForge
Everything’s a card is the idea connecting CinterForge’s tools, assets, and experiences.
CinterForge currently has three planned Series:
- CinterForge Series 1: Creative Suite is designed first for creative people. It spans image, vector, painting, 3D, video, audio, publishing, code, and more. Its iOS and iPadOS app is planned to offer daily downloadable content that users can bring into their Minecraft worlds or view in 3D and augmented reality (AR).
- Series 2: IDE and Play will extend the platform into development and gaming tools.
- Series 3: IdentiFire is planned to include card scanning, deck building, and a vault and portfolio experience for collections and pricing.
CinterForge is being designed around open standards, portable assets, and Local-First AI. CinterForge’s Clean Data commitments include its Clean model, trained on curated public-domain, CC0, or explicitly licensed or permitted sources, with provenance tracked from source to use.
The platform is designed to be extensible. CinterForge welcomes engineers interested in helping develop the system and its apps, or using the platform as a foundation for their own work.

July 2, 2027, marks 20 years since Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection began shipping. On that date, CinterForge plans to launch Series 1 out of beta.
The idea was right: bring tools together. CinterForge is building a platform for creative work—and for what comes next.
